Gore - now clean shaven - after
aargh award
After a tongue in cheek but biting commentary on the facial stubs
of the former vice president, USA Trivia is proud to take the
credit for the new clean-cut, all-American, Al Gore.
The Gore team received a copy of the
Al Gore Aargh Award and apparently
took heed.
So here is another note of advice - it may be too late. Find
a new candidate. No one likes or rallies behind someone who doesn't
appear to have their #$%* together, and unfortunately that is
the case with the former veep. The 2000 election was so close
neither candidate could afford to lose any support - especially
if there is to be a re-match in 2004. Gore, instead of emerging
as the favorite son, armed and ready for the re-match, now has
to mend political fences in his own party - mainly those that
think he went crazy for awhile.
Appearing as though he went off the
deep end after the election loss is the sole reason Hillary Clinton
is emerging as the odds-on favorite to sweep the Democratic nomination
- if so desired. I believe she won't run until 2008, but who
am I to know anything. Wait a minute - I was right about the
beard!
