president of the Screen Actors Guild, and later turned his career
to politics.
- A democrat at the time, it was Nancy
who persuaded him to join the republican party
- She was instrumental in shaping his
political philosophy, and as First Lady she often stood directly
behind him and whipsered "appropriate responses" to
reporter's questions
- Her domineering manner caused frequent
run-ins with his staff that earned her the title, "Dragon

- Following an assassination attempt
on the president in 1981, she hired the services of astrologer

meeting of wives from eight countries that dealt in drug trafficing

from drugs Mrs. Reagan coined the phrase, "Just say no!"
